Overview of how to access the Video Builder and the project interface.
If you are interested in purchasing Video Builder (an optional add-on) please get in touch with your Account Manager.
The Video Builder allows you to create a video from one or more media files such as video clips, webcast archives and images (mp4; avi; flv; wmv; mov; jpg and png).
Note: This tool does not support including documents or website (HTML) files, only the media files mentioned above.
Media Manager
Start from the Media Manager to access the Video Builder.
Click the blue Create Video button at the top left underneath Import Content. This will open a new, empty video project.
Select a media file in the Media Manager > Content list, and click the 3 dots on the far right. Select Create Video from the drop-down menu. This will create a new project, with the selected file importing to the library, showing on the right in the Video Builder
Select multiple media files in the Media Manager > Content list, click the video icon at the top of the media manager list, and click Create Video. This will create a new project, with the selected files importing to the account library, showing on the right in the Video Builder.
Click the Video Projects button at the top right in the Media Manager. This will open a page listing all the video projects using the Video Builder in your account. You can then choose to select and work on an existing project, or click the Create New Video button to start a new project.
Templates
When arriving on the Projects page, Templates will be opened by default.
Note: The image in the Template DOES NOT correspond to the image that will show on the project card once it is created.
The user can select one Template. A new Project is immediately created based on that Template and the user can make the wanted edits in it like a normal project. Clicking the Templates button again will hide this section
Projects
When landing on the project overview page, both published and unpublished projects will be visible. This label represents whether finished videos from a project have been published to the Media Manager. By default all new projects show as “Not Published”. When a finished video has first been published to the Media Manager, the label will update to “Published 1/1”. The numbering (1/1, 1/2) represents the number of published videos (the total number of finished videos) from the project. Note: The Projects page is the same page that users land when clicking on Video Projects within the Media Manager.
Features
Click on the project card to open the project to continue editing, create a copy, etc. |
|
Select the three dot menu to rename, copy, delete, edit labels, or go to finished videos. |
|
Edit Labels to create custom labels/tags for project cards |
|
The Copy option creates a copy of the entire original project with all files inside. This is a quick way to create a new version from an existing video without over-writing the original video project. Note: Copy can also work as a form of "templating" using an original, basic project layout as a basis to work from. Make a copy and edit from there. |
|
The Videos option is only visible when a project has a finished video in it (the user has clicked Finish and an mp4 file has been rendered). |
|
Search by project name or filtering by author, date created, and media. |
|
Content
This is the tool’s in-built account library. It functions as an automatic backup of all media files used in video projects. Users can also upload directly to to content, create a folder structure, etc.
Note: Regardless of the original source, a "copy" is made in the content library. Deleting/updating a file in Media Manager does not delete/update within the Content of the Video Builder.
Search for files by name in the account library . |
|
To Add Media, upload or drag and drop. |

Brand
By default all accounts have the option of creating (up to) 3 brand profile presets. Each brand profile includes color palette (enter hex or RGB codes), corner logo (watermark) and outro logo (appears at the end of the video), fonts (main message font & subtitle/name tag font), text coloring choices and text/clip animation styles. The first brand will by default appear in new video projects. See the Media Manager | Video Builder - Branding article for more information on branding.
