Explains how backfills work for the Salesforce PEP Component App
You can run a backfill in the Salesforce PEP Component App by following the PEP backfill instructions below. Backfills can be run in batches of 3 months, and can go back up to 2 years.
Important: ON24 is migrating to a new Self Service model of integration without Scribe use. If you are starting a new Self Service integration with Salesforce, or are in the process of migrating solutions, please see our Self-Serve Salesforce Integration article. If you aren't sure about your solution or have questions, please contact Support.
How to run a backfill
- Log into Salesforce.
- Press the 9 dot icon.
- Select "ON24 Connector."
- Go to Settings.
- You should see an image similar to the one below.
- Fill in the "Synchronize Historical Data" section. Backfills can be ran in batches of 3 months, and can go back up to 2 years.
- If asked to re-enter the Access Token, Secret Token, and Client Id, then obtain that information from your token. Your Client id is unique to your account. It is not 12345.
