Prior to starting, you will need to work with your ON24 Admin within ON24 Elite Admin to provision an API Access Token/Secret. Once this is provisioned, this will authorize data to be queried from ON24 and pulled into Zapier. For more information on how to provision an API Access Token/Secret, please click here:
How to setup an example Zap using the “ON24” app in the Zapier Marketplace:
- Login to your account on Zapier.com
- Click on “Zaps” à “Create” à “New Zap”
- Enter “ON24” and select the app to match the below image
- Click the “event” dropdown to utilize one of the available trigger options:
- New Attendee
- New Webcast
- New or Updated Attendee
- New Presenter
- New User Question
- New Registrant
5. After the “event” field is selected, you will have to click “Sign In” to successfully authenticate to ON24. You will need your Token Key, Secret and ON24 Client ID to proceed. This is all available within the ON24 API Dashboard.
6. Once your information is entered successfully, go back to your “Trigger” and you can now select “Continue” to proceed. Once you select an ON24 Event within the “Setup Trigger panel”, (this panel automatically populates with all of the ON24 Events on your account) please proceed to test your trigger by clicking “Test Trigger”.
