This article centralizes all integrations information regarding Zapier, including setup instructions, timing, and FAQs.
Things to Know
This integration is built and supported by Zaiper.
Zapier is an iPaaS that can be used to setup connections from ON24 to over 3,000 apps. Zapier moves data between ON24 on your apps automatically. The Zapier app can be used to retrieve registrant and attendee data, as well as create and copy webinars. Integration with ON24's Zapier connector allows you to automate your workflows in unique and interesting ways, without requiring human monitoring and interaction at each step.
Set Up
- API access must be enabled for the ON24 account where the target event(s) reside. Provision a token and name it Zapier. At a minimum, the token should be configured with access to Registration endpoints and Event-level Analytics endpoints. Access for All endpoints will also work. Once this is provisioned, this will authorize data to be queried from ON24 and pulled into Zapier.
- In Zapier's website, download the ON24 Connector here
- Alternatively, go to Zapier's Marketplace, search for ON24, and download the connector
- To finish the configuration, you will need to apply the ON24 token key and secret
- You will need to create your own Zapier account and manage your own configurations.
ON24 does not take part in building Zapier solutions. - See an example of a Zapier/ON24 trigger below

In this instance we selected Gmail > Create a Draft to show a full end-to-end process.
You must Sign-in to Gmail to authenticate your account and then click Continue.
Once completed, click Continue in order to be able to test your action.
Timing
Implementation Timing
The completion time to integrate data from the ON24 platform to Zapier, leveraging ON24’s REST API, will vary according to your resources’ availability.
Since this is custom built, ON24 does not participate in its development. Contact us if you have questions about the data.
Scheduled Timing
Scheduled timing is when the data passes from ON24 to your end system. Since you built your custom integration, you defined when your integration runs.
Note: Scheduled timing is different from Availability Timing.
Availability Timing
Availability Timing refers to when data is available in the data warehouse for the integration platforms to collect.
Timing may fluctuate on heavy traffic days.
- Registrant - 15 minutes
- Attended Live - 30 minutes to 2 hours after the event ended
- Attended On-demand - 4 to 12 hours
Data is processed and made available in a defined order based on business relevance.
- Registrant data is prioritized and becomes available first. Attendee data follows once event activity has fully completed and reporting is finalized.
- Within attendee data, live event information is prioritized ahead of on-demand activity due to its immediate relevance. On-demand data is processed after live data and appears once all reporting is complete.
This prioritization ensures that the most relevant and time-sensitive information is available first, while maintaining consistent and reliable reporting across all data sets.
Note: Availability timing is different from Scheduled timing.
Backfills
You can build a custom solution using our REST API to run a backfill. You can go as far back as your ON24 contract start date. However, the data can only be pulled 6 months at a time.
Advanced Analytics customers – you can manually export the last 2 years of data from the ON24 platform and import it into Zapier.
In the Analytics tab of your ON24 account, click on Power Leads to export the data.
