Things to Know

ON24 supports data integrations between ON24 and your Learning Management System (LMS) or Aviation Industry Computer-Based-Training Committee (AICC).

You can host events through ON24 and pass the results to your LMS/AICC using ON24's Earn Certification Tool.

The integration process is different from our other end system data integrations. For example, field mapping is not required. Rather, ON24 will provision your account accordingly, so you can collect the data when the students register and attend the events.  The data integration is supported for both live and on-demand events.  

Set Up

Notes: 

• The LMS vendor must be able to support AICC standards
• You must be able to provide the SSID from the LMS to ON24. The SSID is unique id for the student per course/event/content.
• Your students do not go through SAML. AICC does not work for SAML audiences because SAML will prevent ON24 from receiving the SSID. 

First, reach out ON24 Support with an ON24 Event ID and the LMS/AICC URL (to ensure it's added to the ON24 allowlist).

And configure your LMS so your students can register for ON24 events.  The URL listed below needs to be set up in your LMS system, to log the AICC_SID and AICC_URL in the ON24 database and seamlessly registers the student for the event.

Next set up your event(s) in Webcast Elite.  You'll need to add the Earn Certification tool to your console(s).  Configure the tool in whatever way meets your criteria.

If you'd like to test the results, create and run a test event.  Attend the test event and verify the certification status in your LMS.

Timing

Implementation Timing

You will be required to open a Support case to begin the data integration. ON24 should be done within 1 – 2 business days. Afterwards, you will be instructed to configure your LMS URL. The timing on that will vary according to your resources’ availability.

Scheduled Timing

Scheduled timing is when the data passes from ON24 to your end system.

ON24 has an API scheduled job that runs every hour and pushes the test/exam data (pass/fail score) to your LMS for the qualified students.

The LMS integration is scheduled to run 11 minutes past the hour, every hour, every day (example 1:11 pm, 2:11 pm). The scheduled timing is not configurable.

Note: Scheduled timing is different from Availability timing.

Availability Timing

Availability Timing refers to when data is available in the data warehouse for the integration platforms to collect.

Timing may fluctuate on heavy traffic days.

• Registrant - 15 minutes
• Attended Live - 30 minutes to 2 hours after the event ended
• Attended On-demand - 4 to 12 hours

Note: Availability timing is different from Scheduled timing.
