Subscribing to an Engagement Hub provides the option to notify viewers when updates and new content are added. Learn here how to build a community and leverage automated emails with the Subscribe feature.
Registered users can subscribe to your Engagement Hub and receive email updates when new content is added. To ensure your audiences have a consistent experience with your brand and communication, you can customize these subscription email notifications.
To edit the content of the subscription notification email, navigate to the Overview section and scroll to the Configuration Options section to find Enable Subscribe to Engagement Hub.
Toggle the option on, then click the Preview/Edit to review and update the email text.
Note: Emails are sent out at 9:00 a.m. PST on Tuesdays (any content added and deleted before this will not be sent out).
The following fields can be customized. Click Save to save all changes.
- From Field - the name of the sender
- Reply To Field - used for audience replies (only one email address can be used)
- To Field - used to send a test email for previewing email content (up to five email addresses can be entered, separated by commas)
- Subject - customize the subject line to drive more attention from your audience
-
Body - style and edit the messaging as needed
- Use the token function to auto-populate key details
- Token examples are highlighted
- Find tokens in the [T] icon
- Use the token function to auto-populate key details
Note: If the Engagement Hub is unpublished, it is strongly recommended that the option Enable Subscribe to Engagement Hub be toggled off. As new content is being added to the Engagement Hub while unpublished, subscribers will continue to receive new content emails.
You can find analytics in the Email Subscription report. The Email Subscription Report shows the number of weekly subscription emails sent, opened, and clicked thru, and tracks the bounce rate in the system. There is a summary, a data table that includes details for every subscriber, and details of every email that has been sent. Find more information on the report here.
How will the email look to Subscribers?
If using the Legacy display options subscription emails will inherit the same banner and content thumbnail image as the Engagement Hub by default.
If you are using the Hero Layout, a banner will not be automatically pulled into the email. Instead, the text Engagement Hub Content Digest will appear. This text is not editable.
