ON24 users can now add chatbots to Engagement Hubs to expand audience engagement.
Chatbots can be added to your engagement hub(s). We integrate with Drift, one of the market leaders in this space. To take advantage of this functionality, you must be a Drift customer.
Integrating with Drift
Each Drift account will have a unique identifier within the Drift Widget JavaScript. To locate this number, in Drift, navigate to Settings > Drift Widget > Install > JavaScript. Within the JavaScript there is a unique alphanumeric ID located towards the bottom. Look for drift.load and the unique ID will be located within a set of parentheses.
To add your company’s Drift account chatbot to an engagement hub, navigate to the Overview tab in Engagement Hub administration and enter the unique drift.load ID into the Drift Code field.
For Engagement Hub, you’ll need to do this only once.
Note: When configuring the Drift Chatbot for an Engagement Hub, users need to enter the hub domain in the security settings in Drift (on24.com). For allowlisting purposes, Drift recommends adding both the domain and the subdomain (https://gateway.on24.com). Also, be sure to configure the playbook settings properly to include the URLs where you want to display the playbook.
