The Webinar Benchmark Report allows ON24 customers to compare their webcasts to a collection of peer webcasts and to use that data to improve the performance of their own webcast programs.
Maximize Your Webcast Performance by Using Industry Comparisons
The Webinar Benchmark Report will allow you to compare the performance of your webcasts to other users on our platform in your industry.
The report is based on data aggregated from ON24’s database of more than 23,000 customer webcasts delivered in the last 12 months.
Key performance metrics are compiled to deliver a comprehensive webinar report card, which allows you to:
- Evaluate your webcast results relative to industry peers
- Identify where webcast best practices can be applied
- Measure performance improvements as you optimize webcast delivery
- To help you optimize your overall webinar performance, ON24 offers a complete set of resources
Analytics Benchmark Categories
The Benchmark Report is broken into the following:
- Engagement Score
- Conversion Rate
- Average Registrants
- Average Attendees
- Average Live Attendees
- Average On-Demand Attendees
- Average Live Attendees Durations
- Average On-Demand Duration
The Benchmark Report can be exported to a PDF file by clicking the download icon in the top right corner, thereby allowing you to keep a static copy of the dynamically changing data.
Navigating the Benchmark Report
Click on the Analytics tab and select Benchmarking.
Upon the initial launch, a pop-up will display prompting users to choose their company’s Sector and Industry. Once the categories are selected, click Done to view the benchmark report.
If you would like to set a default Sector and Industry for your account, click the edit icon in the gray box of the legend. These settings can be changed at any time in the future.
You can also update you Sector and Industry in the Account Dashboard.
To toggle between different sectors and industry benchmarks, simply use the drop-down menu in the legend at the top of the report to select your desired category. You can also see different event use cases with the Webcast Purpose toggle.
The dashboard will provide you with graphs for each of the categories. The dashed lines represent the benchmarks, the solid lines are your webcasts.
Hover over either line to see the score for that month.
Webinar Industry Benchmark Reports
Our Webinar Industry Benchmarking Report includes a broad set of best practices, usage, and success metrics, broken down by industry and updated monthly. You will find useful data including the best days and times to run webinars and when to promote them, how fast are webinar viewers moving to mobile devices, and what are the standards for engagement and attendance across your own industry.
To get the report, simply go to the standard Benchmarking page in Analytics.
