ON24 users can utilize the AI-Generated content feature to automatically create resources such as articles, blog posts, eBooks, podcasts and more, from their events or uploaded videos. These assets appear in the ON24 Media Manager and can be edited, formatted, and published to an Engagement Hub, Target or Nurture Page.
Things to Know
AI-generated content is created using Microsoft Azure OpenAI's technology. You retain full ownership of the information you provide and full ownership of the generated assets. ON24 and Microsoft Azure OpenAI do not use this information for anything other than the requested service.
- You must have AI-Powered ACE, AI Propel+ or have purchased a package of Smart Plays to create AI-generated Content.
- Additional fees may apply. Reach out to your Account Manager for details.
- It may take up to four hours for the content to appear in the Media Manager
- You must have Order Services permissions in order to request AI-Generated content. Find more information on login permissions.
- If you have AI-Powered ACE, you can use AI to rewrite your articles for tone, length, or readability once they've been generated. You can even translate articles to other languages. Check out the option to utilize AI for rewriting articles.
- If you have AI-Powered ACE or AI Propel+, you can use AI Brand Voice to upload your brand guidelines document or define a custom prompt. This ensures your AI-generated content sounds consistent and reflects your brand's unique voice.
Creating Content from Events
You can create AI-generated content from events run in your account or from videos you have uploaded to the Media Manager.
To create content for a Nuture Page from an event, open the event's Overview Page. Under Smart Plays, toggle ON Generate a collection of AI-generated content and/or Key Moments.
In order for AI content to be generated appropriately, your event must have Video Presenter Media or actual Audio Presenter Media. This is due to the AI needing to 'read' the content of your event, similar to our captioning services.
- After the archive is available for Live, Forums, and Sim-2-Live events
- After publishing for Simu-live and On-Demand recordings
Note: Set your event to a supported language to receive AI-generated content in that same language (e.g., Spanish events generate content in Spanish):
| Chinese (Simplified) | German | Norwegian | Spanish |
| Dutch | Italian | Polish | Swedish |
| English (US or UK) | Japanese | Portuguese (Brazil or Portugal) | Thai |
| French | Korean | Russian |
Once the event has run, the content will automatically be created and stored in your Media Manager.
Event creators will receive an email notification with instructions on what they can do next.
Creating Content from Videos
Note: This option is not part of any purchased Smart Play packages - it is only available with AI-Powered ACE.
You can generate AI content from external videos you have uploaded to your Media Manager. Once the video has been uploaded, click the kebab menu or open the flyout panel to generate the content.
Choose your language, then click Generate.
- External videos must be greater than 10 minutes in length for content to be generated.
- You will get the following article types - transcript, blog, eBook, and key takeaways.

Finding and Using Content
You can access the content in one of three places in the event:
Click on the AI Content tab in your event's navigation bar to open a list of all of the content created for this presentation.
This page mirrors the Media Manager, so you can preview, add more content, publish, or edit directly from here.
You can also access the full Media Manager if necessary.
Under Smart Plays on the event's Overview Page.
Click on the Media Manager link to go directly to the content in the Media Manager.
You can use the search bar at the top of the Media Manager. Enter the event ID or event/video name to pull up the source, along with the AI-Generated content.
You can also use filters in the navigation panel. You can filter by Content Type to see all that type of content.
Or you can use the Funnel or Custom Tags to pull up both the event and the AI-generated content associated with it. Note: You must have an ACE Package to find AI-generated content this way.
Using Content
AI-Generated content will be labeled by type in the Content list and will be grouped together in a collection in the Media Manager.
When you're ready, publish the content to your Engagement Hub, either from the Flyout Panel, or the content list (except Podcasts). Once published, it can be added to your Engagement Hub or Target Content Experiences.
You can also download much of the content by clicking on the kebab menu.
