Provides the steps to setup SSO
Setting up SSO for ON24 requires several steps. This article reviews what you need, timing, steps, and what you should expect during the setup.
What you will need to start:
1) Speak to your CSM or Account Manger about adding SSO to your contract. The ON24 team can not begin setup until this service is added to your account.
2) It is advised to have one main contact\team for the setup, SSO takes communication and we want to make sure that the right people are involved.
3) Decide what systems or 'SSO type' you will be implementing. The "type" here refers to where the SSO will be used Elite Admin, Audience, Hub, VC, Go Live or a combination.
4) Your team will need to be able to acquire and send SSO Certificates, Metadata, and attributes. This may take a technical resource from your team.
Timing:
1) Allow for several days to allow for SSO fully implemented.
2) If a specific window of time is required ensure that is clearly communicated and that all required answers and documents are provided ahead of time, also allowing time for testing and communication.
3) Implementation requires action from both teams, including testing. Delays in receiving clarification, certificates, or testing confirmation will delay the SSO completion.

To begin your SSO implementation, submit a request to Platform Support. Need the steps to submit a ticket? Reference the "How to Submit a Support Ticket" section of this article.
