The Media Manager requires all content to be uploaded before publishing to ON24 Engagement Hubs, Target pages, or social media. It supports various formats like events, images, webpages, and AI-Generated content.
Content Formats
Your content must be uploaded to the Media Manager before it can be published to ON24 Engagement Hubs, ON24 Target pages, or social media.
Up to 50 items are displayed per page of the Media Manager. There are currently no limits to the number of pieces of content that can be stored within the Media Manager.
Content is sorted by date (most recent descending) by default.

Adding Content to the Media Manager
Click on the Add Content button to add content to the Media Manager.
Once added to the Media Manager, you can publish the content to your Engagement Hub for use in the Hub and Target pages.
To import content from your network, click on Upload Files. You can upload video files, PDFs, or images this way.
You can upload up to 100 files at a time. Select multiple content items using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift.
Note: Files need to be “visible” to the OS explorer for the feature to work. If files are stored on a cloud drive, create a local image version on your computer or download them first before using the feature to upload them to Media Manager.
When uploading content, users will see a progress window.
A blue line will show the upload progress and estimated time remaining.
Click Add More Files to add additional files to the queue. This option will be greyed out if you have reached the maximum of 100 items allowed in the queue. As the queue is processed, you can add more files to be uploaded.
Click Hide to minimize the details screen. Once the files are uploaded, this button will change to Done.
Click Cancel to cancel uploading the files in the queue.
Note: If you leave the page while the items are being added, the upload will be canceled.
To add an external webpage, click on Webpage. Add the title and the URL, then click Save.
To add an external video, click External Video. Add the title and the URL, then click Save.
Using Content
Categorizing and Publishing Content
Once content has been uploaded to the Media Manager, it needs to be published to an Engagement Hub to be available for use in your Engagement Hubs and Target Content Experiences. You can choose which Engagement Hub category your content should be published to directly from the Media Manager.
Use the icons next to the content or in the Flyout Panel to publish to an Engagement Hub.
During the publish flow, simply select or deselect categories to keep your content organized from the start. This streamlines your workflow and ensures your hub remains structured.
Once published, add or use the content in an ON24 digital experience:
- Adding content from the Media Manager to an Engagement Hub
- Adding content from the Media Manager to a Content Experience in Target
- Using content from the Media Manager in a Webcast Elite event
Scheduling Content Unpublishing
You can schedule a specific date and time for content to be unpublished when publishing to the Engagement Hub through the Media Manager. This helps manage time-sensitive or compliance-driven content without manual follow-up.
- The unpublish setting is off by default, meaning content will remain published unless a date/time is set
- Available only in Media Manager, and set per content item
- Applies only to the Engagement Hub (not to Target or Nurture Pages, which still require manual unpublishing)
- Does not apply to social media channels
- Analytics and reporting remain available after unpublishing
Downloading Content
Download content from the Media Manager to use offline.
Click the three dots next to the content and select download.
You can also bulk download videos, images, or documents. Check the boxes of the items you want, then click the download icon at the top.
