The Elite Studio interface offers customizable, role-based views for presenters, with settings saved per login. Producers control content uploads (slides, videos, polls, URLs, backgrounds) and assign tools by role to streamline workflows and ensure security. The Top Toolbar enables connection updates, screen sharing, and audio/video control. The Main Stage displays key tools like Live View, Media Player, and Q&A. The icon list and right panel provide easy access and management of open tools, enhancing presenter efficiency.

In Setup under the Assign Tools option, Producers can control which tools are available for each role and choose whether those tools are open or closed by default. This helps ensure your team sees only what they need to see. Use the checkboxes to decide which tools are available for each role. Then choose if the tool is open by default.
Note: When you copy an event the assigned tool settings carry over, ensuring consistency across your events.
Why Assign Tools?
Before sharing the Presenter link with speakers, the Producers will need to decide which tools the Presenters and Q&A Screeners should have access to. Assigning tools by role ensures:
- Focus for Speakers: One-time or guest speakers aren’t overwhelmed by unnecessary options or distracted from their primary speaking role.
- Efficiency for Producers: Producers have full control over the event without clutter.
- Security & Control: Limits access to sensitive tools (e.g., broadcast controls) to authorized roles only.
- Streamlined Experience: Each role sees only what they need, reducing confusion and mistakes during live events.
Recommended Tools by Role
Producers
By default, Producers have full access to all tools, including:
- Communication Tools: Q&A, Team Chat, Attendees, Attendee Chat, Presenters List
- Event Features: Breakout Rooms (if added to the audience console), Preview, Engagement Tools, Pulse Check
- Visual Elements: Lower Thirds, Virtual Backgrounds
- Setup: Slides, Video Clips, Polls, URLs, Banners, and Backgrounds
Presenters
- Slides
- Slide Notes
- Polls (open if they will push polls themselves)
- Video clips (optional, usually closed unless they need control)
- Q&A (open if they will engage with audience questions)
- Team Chat (should be included so they can communicate behind the scenes with fellow presenters)
Q&A Moderators
- Q&A (open by default)
- Team Chat (should be included so they can communicate behind the scenes with presenters)
- Attendee Chat (optional, unless they manage audience engagement)
- Everything else closed to avoid distraction
Best Practices
- Use tools strategically: Open only what’s essential for each role.
- Keep it simple for speakers: Less is more. Avoid giving them tools they won’t use.
- Test before going live: Confirm each role’s view matches your plan.
- Keep it consistent: Create an event template to maintain consistency across events, as tool assignments will carry over.
