The Interactions report provides users with all the information on how their attendees interacted with the event. There are seven different reports: Q&A, Survey, Polls, Resources, Call to Action, Breakout Rooms, and More. This article covers both Webcast Elite and Forums events.
To view the Interactions report, go to the Intelligence Report for the event (via the event's Report Link), then click the Interactions tab on the left menu.
Once the live event is over, the report will continue to update as on-demand viewers continue submitting their responses.
All detailed reports are exportable to Excel and sortable - click on the download icon.
Important:
- For load-balancing reasons, some event data may be delayed up to 1-2 hours from when the activity was last completed.
- Deleting an engagement tool from the Audience Console after the event has run will delete the report data. If you no longer want the tool to show - review and download any report data needed and try unchecking the Active box in tool attributes. Making the tool inactive will remove the data visibility from reports at this time.
Click on the tabs to learn more.
Q&A
The Q&A report captures the following information:
- Name of attendee & company name
- The question & the time it was submitted
- Who responded to the question, the written answer & response time
- Whom the answer was shared with:
- Assigned - indicates the question was pushed to the slide area
- Individual - the written response was sent to the attendee
- All - the written response was sent to all attendees
- Marked - indicates a presenter marked the question as answered
- New - the question has not been answered
Q&A Folders
Folders are useful during live events to organize your questions from viewers and make answering questions easier. Folders can also be used in the Intelligence Report to organize both questions and answers and find specific questions from your entire list.
Click on the dropdown for Show all folders to see a list of the folders you used during the event. Select the checkbox next to the folder or folders you want to view to filter your questions.
Any question that you have already placed into a specific folder during the event will also display the folder name directly beneath the answer text.
Survey
A detailed report of each survey question is available by selecting View Details. The detailed report displays each attendee’s response to the survey question and information regarding his or her name and company.
Polls
The Polls tab is a graphical representation of how polls were answered during the event. A detailed report of each poll is available by selecting View Details.
The detailed report displays each attendee’s email address, response to the poll, and company.
Hiding Poll Response Details
Note: To turn on the setting to hide all of your poll response details, please submit a Support ticket.
This optional setting allows you to hide all detailed poll responses that can be tied to an identifiable individual. When this setting is turned on, all summaries of poll response totals will remain available, but all links to poll details will be hidden.
Related Content
The Related Content tab provides a graphical representation of every resource downloaded from the Related Content engagement tool. Resources are organized by most viewed to least viewed.
- Unique Downloads -The number of attendees who have downloaded the resource
- Total Downloads - The total number of times the resource was downloaded
The detailed report displays each attendee’s name, company, the number of times they downloaded the resource, and an email address.
Take Action
The Take Action tab provides a graphical representation of the total number of clicks for all Take Action tools used. Clicking the pie chart will load a detailed report that displays each attendee’s name, company, the number of times they click on the tool, and an email address.
Important: When Take Action Tools are set to show during live events, attendees who click on a Take Action tool must leave the audience console open for two minutes after clicking for the analytics to record the action. If an attendee leaves the event before the required two-minute period, or if the event ends before the end of the two-minute period, the click will not be recorded in reporting. If the Take Action Tool is set to show at the end of the event, the click is recorded immediately.
Breakout Rooms
Note: Breakout Rooms must be enabled on your account. Please reach out to your Account Manager with questions.
Find more information on Breakout Rooms reporting.

- Unique Views -The number of unique individuals who viewed the console engagement tool - counted the first time an attendee opens the tool
- Total Views - The total number of times the engagement tool was viewed by attendees - counted each time an attendee opens the tool
The tools listed below will have additional details you can view by clicking View Details in their card. Click the links below to learn more about each tool's specific reporting.
- Attendee Chat
- Earn Certification
- Conversion Tools (Book Meeting, Request Demo, Start Free Trial)
- Reactions
- Take Test
- URL
- Book Meeting with Calendly
- Drift Chat (will not have View Details available)
Automated Captioning and Language Analytics
If you are using captions (including multilingual captioning) in your events, you can view all the details of which attendees are viewing captions (or turning them off), and which languages they are viewing.
Click View Details in the summary box in the More section of Interactions to view caption details. Click the download icon to export the report to Excel.
Each language with captions will have a bar, showing the number of unique attendees who viewed the captions in that language.
- The total numbers in the chart may add up to a higher number than your total attendees because a person can view the captioning in multiple languages.
- If an attendee changes the language during the event, they will be counted for each caption language viewed.
The data table at the bottom of the Detail page displays full details for every action on the Captioning UI in the event console, including turning the captions on or off, or changing the caption language.
Presenter Actions and Presenter Chats
By clicking the chart beside More, users will see Presenter Actions and Presenter Chats. The Presenter Chats and Presenter Actions cannot be exported to Excel.
Presenter Actions
The Presenter Actions option provides a presentation summary report that documents each action that occurred during the presentation. These presenter actions include the username and timestamp that shows the date and time when the presenter logged into the event. This also includes slide pushes, polls, URLs, poll results, flash clips, etc.
Presenter Chats
The Presenter Chats option provides a chat log of the messages sent among the presenting team via the Team Chat in Elite Studio.
