Customize Font Sizes on Downloadable Certificates
We have enhanced the Earn Certification tool to give you greater control over the appearance of your downloadable certificates. You can now adjust font sizes for each text field, ensuring readability and alignment with your certificate design.
These improvements make it easier to produce clean, professional certificates that align with your layout requirements.
Move Tools on Console More Easily
For consoles using the Embedded chrome shown on hover style, attendees can now move a tool by clicking and dragging anywhere in the header chrome area - no need to grab the specific Move icon. This applies only to tools configured to allow attendee repositioning.
French Canadian Support for Live Captioning
Automated captions are now available for live events presented in French Canadian. As the presenter speaks, captions in French Canadian can be displayed for the audience.
Note: Auto-live captioning is available as an add-on feature.
Ability to Reorder Breakout Rooms
Within Console Builder > Breakout Room > Configuration, you can now reorder rooms when multiple breakout rooms are configured. This gives you greater control over how rooms are presented to attendees.
Find more information in our article Configuring the Breakout Rooms Tool.
Advanced Notice: 4:3 Media Player Aspect Ratio Deprecation
Effective June 1, 2025 , ON24 will no longer support the 4:3 aspect ratio for the Media Player in new events. From that date forward, 16:9 will be the only supported aspect ratio for newly created events.
Note: If you play a 4:3 video in a 16:9 Media Player, pillarboxing will occur - black bars will appear on the left and right sides to maintain the video’s original proportions.
Exception: Existing events, including future-scheduled events, that are already configured with a 4:3 Media Player will be allowed to remain at 4:3.
However, if you:
- Copy an event where the original Media Player is 4:3, or
- Apply a console template that uses a 4:3 Media Player
The target event’s Media Player will automatically be set to 16:9, with no option to revert to 4:3.
- In this case, the Media Player width will remain the same, but the height will be reduced to fit the 16:9 ratio.
- If tools are positioned below the Media Player, you may notice increased vertical spacing between them due to the height reduction.
To ensure a smooth transition:
- If you copy events, update the source event's Media Player to 16:9 and adjust the layout as needed.
- If you use a console template with a 4:3 Media Player, create a new version of the template using a 16:9 Media Player and adjust the layout accordingly.
To check your Media Player’s aspect ratio, go to Console Builder > Media Player > Configuration > Media Player.

Take Full Control of Your Registration Page Translations - BETA
Managing multi-language registration pages just got easier! You can now edit translated pages directly, just like the primary language version. Plus, you have the flexibility to lock translations to prevent automatic syncing with changes to the primary page, unlock them to re-enable syncing, and revert any or all translated pages back to ON24’s default translations.
This update gives event organizers full flexibility over multi-language registration pages, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and control over how content is localized. You can confidently edit translations manually, prevent unintended overwrites from primary language changes, and restore ON24’s defaults at any time if needed.
Check out the Language Options tab of the Registration Design and Setup article for more details.
Faster Registration Setup with Copy/Paste Multi-Option Fields
Setting up registration forms just got easier! You can now copy/paste a list of options directly into multi-option fields like checkboxes and dropdowns using the new Add As List button. No more manually entering each option—simply paste, edit, and organize your list in seconds!
This update streamlines multi-option registration fields, reducing setup time and ensuring consistency across registration forms. With a faster, more efficient way to populate dropdowns and checkboxes, event organizers can focus on delivering seamless registration experiences.

Ability to Turn Off Other Presenters’ Webcams
Producers and presenters in a live webinar can now turn off cameras of other producers and presenters by clicking the camera icon next to the presenter’s name in the Presenters list in Elite Studio.
Check out the Other Tools tab of the Elite Studio User Guide for more information.
Elite Studio Only Displays Widgets Shown to the Audience
Elite Studio now only displays Q&A and Audience Chat windows if those tools are included in the audience console and shows the Reactions toggle only when Reactions are enabled for attendees.
Miscellaneous Enhancements / Bug Fixes.
- (Locked) Intelligent Layout events now adapt more effectively to available vertical screen space, reducing reliance on scrollbars to display full content.
- When pushing a question to the Slide tool from Elite Studio, questions containing the "&" symbol were incorrectly rendered as "&" in the Slide tool. Similarly, replies to questions in the Ask Question tool displayed the "&" symbol incorrectly. These issues have been fixed.
- Resolved an issue in the Take Action by Segment tool where reordering personalized content triggered a misleading “Setup Incomplete” error. Users can now reorder content without encountering this error.
- After adding the Take Action by Segment tool to Console Builder, the tool would sometimes unexpectedly disappear and only reappear after refreshing the browser. This issue has been fixed.
- For clients using the Cookie Consent Banner feature, some favicons (the small icons associated with websites) were blocked from being shown in the Related Content tool, resulting in broken image placeholders being shown instead of the icons. This has been fixed.

Improvements to External Headset Functionality
Users will be able to use devices such as Bluetooth or wired headphones automatically simply by connecting them, without needing to refresh the page or make manual changes. Similarly, switching back to the internal device will be automatic when disconnecting the new device. An error message will be displayed if there is no available device to use after disconnection.
Volume Control
Desktop users will be able to control the volume of the live event using a new volume control slider.
French Canadian Support for Live Captioning
Automated captions are now available for live events presented in French Canadian. As the presenter speaks, captions in French Canadian can be displayed for the audience.
Note: Auto-live captioning is available as an add-on feature.
Video Clip Actions Available in Forums Basic
Video clip actions can now be performed in Forums Basic, similarly to regular Forums events.
Assorted Minor Visual Enhancements
- Banner sizes and colors have been improved.
- The name of the user who is screen sharing will now be available on hover.
Media Manager
New Article Collections for AI-Generated Event Content
To streamline content organization and improve discoverability, ON24 Media Manager now introduces Article Collections. For events and uploaded videos with Smart Plays enabled, all AI-generated articles—including eBooks, Transcripts, Key Takeaways, Blogs, Social Media Posts (for events only), and Follow-Up Emails (for events only)—will be automatically grouped into a single “Article Collection.” Previously managed as standalone assets, this content is now easier to locate, manage, and repurpose. Marketers can now save time and reduce manual overhead by accessing related derivative content in a unified view.
Intelligence
Webcast Intelligence Report Now Accessible Without Archiving Enabled
Users can now access the Webcast Intelligence Report (WIR) even if archiving is turned off for their workspace. Previously, turning off an event archive also disabled the Report URL. Now, these settings are independent—so you can keep the Report URL accessible even when the archive is deactivated. This update ensures that valuable event insights remain available throughout the duration of an active contract, providing greater flexibility and continuous access to reporting tools regardless of archiving settings.
“Audience Smart Questions” Now Included in Performance Insights Emails (AI-Powered ACE Customers)
ON24 Performance Insights emails for Elite events can now feature a new Audience Smart Questions section when AI-generated questions from the Elite Studio Q&A screener agent are available. This section appears only for AI-powered ACE customers when the Al-enabled ON24 Performance Insights feature is enabled and the event includes a Q&A widget. If no AI-generated questions are present, the section is omitted. Designed to mirror the style and behavior of the Key Takeaways section, this enhancement provides attendees with richer follow-up insights and helps organizers highlight audience engagement.
Improved Visibility into Audience Ratings in Performance Insights Emails
The Audience Rating section in ON24 Performance Insights emails now includes the total number of responses for each rating category—Audio/Video Quality, Ease of Use, Content Relevance, and Presenter Effectiveness. This enhancement displays the number of ratings in parentheses next to the star rating (e.g., “★ 3.00 Stars (4 Ratings)”), giving recipients clearer insight into audience engagement.
Enhanced Survey Visibility for Segment-Based Targeting
We’ve added new data to the Survey tab and Survey Detail page in Interactions to improve transparency for surveys created with the Survey by Segment tool. Each survey question now includes a Shown to: row indicating whether it was targeted to specific segments, shown as a fallback to unmatched attendees, or sent to all attendees. On the Survey Detail page, a new Segment column appears (when applicable) to show which segment led a respondent to see a question. This column also appears in export files for more detailed reporting.
New Smart Tip Highlights Impact of “New Design” Registration Pages
A new Smart Tip is now live on the Smart Tips page to help users boost event attendance by adopting the modern Registration Page Layout. Tailored to each account, the tip shows how switching to the "New Design" can improve registration-to-attendance conversion rates, with projected gains based on benchmark data. It also includes a personalized estimate of additional attendees that could have been gained in the past month. The tip appears when specific criteria are met, including feature availability and usage thresholds, and includes a "Boost Conversion" button linking to helpful resources.
Connect
Veeva Network Integration for HCP VID Retrieval - BETA
ON24 users can now enable a Beta integration with Veeva Network to streamline HCP identification. Once configured via the ON24 Integration page, registration data fields (e.g., name, email, NPI) can be mapped and automatically sent to Veeva Network. This enables the retrieval of verified Veeva IDs (VIDs) for registrants, which are stored in ON24’s exteventusercd field based on Network’s match logic. This feature enhances data accuracy and supports compliant, automated syncing of registrant information with Veeva's HCP directory.
Salesforce Data Cloud Integration for ON24 Event Metadata - BETA
ON24 users can now integrate with Salesforce Data Cloud to replicate event metadata using a new Data Lake Object (DLO) specifically for ON24 Events. This initial phase enables automated syncing of event details—such as titles, dates, URLs, and tags—into Salesforce for downstream use cases like Agentforce. While the DLO schema must currently be uploaded manually via a provided YML file, the integration automates the population of event data from the client’s ON24 workspace. Future releases will introduce full automation of the DLO creation and expand support to include Registrant and Attendee data.
New API Endpoint for Retrieving Users and Permissions Across Workspaces
A new API endpoint, GET /v2/client/{clientId}/users, enables API users to programmatically retrieve a comprehensive list of users within a specific workspace and its child workspaces. The response includes key user details such as name, email, job title, account, and last login date, along with an array of permissions for users with “Platform Login” access. This enhancement provides greater visibility and control over user roles and access rights, simplifying user management and supporting automation of administrative tasks across complex workspace structures.
Salesforce Picklist Fields Now Mappable for Salesforce Sales Cloud Integration
The Salesforce Sales Cloud integration now supports mapping Salesforce picklist fields as text fields for Campaigns, Campaign Members, and Leads. During schema discovery, picklist fields are detected and made available for mapping as simple text outputs within the integration builder. This update enables greater flexibility in handling ON24 data without enforcing strict picklist validation. Note that this enhancement applies only to single picklist fields (not multipicklists) and does not include label mapping or validation logic.
Go Live
Customize Session & Location Descriptions with Rich Text Editing
Go Live just got more customizable! Admins can now enhance the Session and Location description fields using a rich text editor, allowing for branded formatting like font styles, colors, links, and more. This makes it easier than ever to deliver a polished, engaging experience across your event touchpoints.
Branded event experiences go beyond logos and colors—content formatting plays a big role in how information is perceived. By enabling rich text editing in key areas of the attendee journey, this feature gives organizers more control and flexibility to create descriptions that are clear, styled, and aligned with brand tone.
