Intelligent Engagement Platform
Customize Key Moments with Platform Branding
We’ve enhanced the workspace-level Branding section to include new settings for configuring your Key Moment videos. You can customize the intro slide, outro slide, and logos that appear in these videos. To access these settings, go to: Platform Tools > Branding > Video Settings.
Note: Settings under Platform Tools > Video Builder > Brand no longer apply to Key Moment videos. For clients currently using Key Moments, the Video Builder > Brand settings will be migrated to Branding > Video Settings to ensure your existing settings are preserved.
AI Generated Podcast Support on ON24 Nurture Pages
AI-generated podcasts can now be added to ON24 Nurture Pages, giving marketers another dynamic format to include in their automated content tracks. This update allows for the delivery of audio content as part of multi-asset nurture experiences, helping sustain engagement over time and reach audiences in moments when visual attention may be limited.
Webcast Elite
Switch Templates in Intelligent Layouts
Console Builder now supports the use of the Template Manager and template dropdown within (Locked) Intelligent Layout events. Previously, these options were only available for Editable Layout events.
Find more information on Intelligent Layouts here.
Support for Post-Event Certification Updates
For workflows that require it, the Earn Certification tool now supports limited post-event updates.
This flexibility can be useful in cases such as:
- Updating the downloadable certificate
- Adjusting certification criteria based on updated standards or requirements
- Updates made after an event concludes are processed during off-peak hours and may take up to 24 hours to fully reflect across Audience Consoles and reporting.
Important: While this option offers added flexibility, post-event changes are rarely needed and can introduce inconsistencies, so this capability is disabled by default. If your use case requires it, please contact the Support team to discuss whether it's right for you.
Edit Slide Notes
You can now edit or create new slide notes within Elite Studio. You can also add notes to other storyboard items such as Polls, URLs and Video Clips.
Note: If you replace the PowerPoint deck, any edits will be replaced with the notes in the PowerPoint deck.
Search Box added to Import Media within PMXD
When importing media from another event within PMXD, you can now use the search box to find the source event you need.
Manually Approve Registration
You now have the option to manually approve or deny each event registrant. All registrants will be held in a pending state until reviewed. Upon approval, they’ll automatically receive a confirmation email. If denied, they’ll be notified that they are not permitted to attend the event.
Find more information on webinar security settings here.
Global Reach with Multi-Language Support – Now GA
Your registration and lobby pages can now be translated into up to five languages, making it easier than ever to accommodate a global audience. The language shown to your audience members will be that of their browser language or the event language if the browser language cannot be detected. Contact your Account Team to learn how to add this service to your account. Be sure to let our Platform Support team know the primary language your team uses.
Find the list of languages we support here - available languages are the same as the options available when choosing a language on the event's Overview page.
Note: This GA feature will require a contract update with applicable fees. This feature is available only for the new Registration Builder.
Miscellaneous Enhancements / Bug Fixes.
- The ability to block an attendee from joining an event now works as expected for Simu-live events.
- In the Earn Certification tool:
- Placement of fields on the downloadable certificate will match what is defined in Console Builder.
- You can now assign credit values with up to two decimal places. For example, 1.75 credits.
Forums
Only Producers Can pin and spotlight
Presenters will no longer be able to pin or spotlight, allowing them to have less buttons to distract them so they can focus on presenting.
Note: This only available when presenting a Forum from Elite Studio.
Informing Users of Status Changes
Users will now be informed when a moderator disables/enables or mutes their mic or camera, or pins/unpins them.
Updated Button Designs
Buttons have been updated to have more consistent feedback and modern look.
Improved Performance
To maintain audio and interactivity functionality, users will have video quality automatically reduced or disabled as necessary when their computer resources are stressed.
Engagement Hub
AI-Generated Podcast Publishing for Engagement Hub
A new capability in Media Manager now allows users to publish AI-generated podcasts directly to Engagement Hub. This update enables seamless distribution of podcast content alongside existing digital experiences, making it easier to diversify content formats and extend audience reach. Audiences can access and consume these AI-generated podcasts as part of their self-directed content journey, offering an additional way to engage with key messages in a format suited to multitasking or on-the-go listening. This integration supports greater content variety without increasing production overhead.
Target
AI-Generated Podcast Support in ON24 Target
Users can now add AI-generated podcasts to ON24 Target experiences directly from Media Manager. This enhancement expands the types of content that can be curated into personalized content journeys, enabling marketers to include audio-based storytelling and thought leadership alongside webinars, videos, and documents. By incorporating podcasts into Target pages, organizations can deliver a richer, more flexible content experience tailored to how different audiences prefer to engage.
Media Manager
Translated Article Collections for Multilingual Content Management
ON24 Media Manager now supports the automatic translation of AI-generated content from events into multiple languages, helping global teams streamline localization efforts. When enabled at the account level by Platform Support, translated content is generated for selected languages and organized into separate Article Collections by language. This enhancement simplifies the management and discovery of localized content within Media Manager, reducing manual translation work and supporting more efficient content repurposing across regions.
Notes:
- This feature is available as an add-on. Speak with your Account Team for details on availability and pricing.
- Translation for transcripts and articles generated from uploaded videos are not supported in this release.
AI-Generated FAQs Article for Webinars (BETA available for ACE clients)
A new feature now uses AI to generate a standalone FAQs article content piece for each webinar, presenting a curated list of likely or commonly asked questions based on the webinar topic and content. The AI-generated FAQs help anticipate viewer interests and provides clear, accessible context for on-demand audiences. It can be published alongside the webinar or incorporated into Engagement Hub, Target, or Nurture Pages, offering an additional way to engage audiences and reinforce key themes without requiring manual content creation.
Minor Miscellaneous Enhancements:
Content Type Prefixing for AI-Generated Assets
To improve clarity and consistency across AI-generated content, newly created assets will now include a content type prefix in their titles. This update applies to blogs, ebooks, and transcripts, with titles formatted as follows:
- Blog: [Title]
- Ebook: [Title]
- Transcript: [Title]
This change helps users more easily identify and distinguish between different content types, particularly when downloading or managing assets at scale. The prefixing convention applies to all AI-generated assets created moving forward and does not retroactively modify existing titles.
Intelligence
Improved Performance for Analytics Dashboard
We are rolling out a new version of the Analytics Dashboard page, designed to improve loading speed, responsiveness, and overall usability. This update introduces a cleaner, more modern interface while preserving key functionality such as filters, data exports, and real-time updates. There will be a phased rollout across client accounts for this page, and this marks the first step in a broader effort to upgrade all Analytics pages to the new framework in future releases.
Note: This feature will be rolled out to customers in phases. See ON24 Platform Rollouts for details.
Send Performance Insights Emails Directly from WIR
A new feature in Webcast Intelligence Reports (WIR) allows users to send ON24 Performance Insights emails directly from a dedicated link. This email icon appears for completed live events and opens a modal where a single email address can be entered to trigger the message send. The email content is based solely on live event data and is stored for consistent delivery. The link will only be available if someone is logged into the platform and viewing the report. If the necessary email properties are not enabled for event creators, presenters, producers, or the custom email list, the email link will not appear in WIR. At least one designated person must receive the email for it to be generated and available for resending in WIR.
Find more information in the Performance Insights article.
Option to Filter Domains from Top Companies in Insights Emails
The Performance Insights email now supports excluding specified email domains from the "Top 5 Companies" section to improve report relevance. This feature leverages the existing “Analytics: ABM - Excluded domains” property which the ON24 support can enable on a per-client request. When configured, it omits participants whose email domains match those listed for exclusion. If no domains are specified, standard behavior applies.
Updates to Text in the ON24 Performance Insights Email
Company names now appear without bold formatting to improve visual balance, and the Event ID is displayed as clickable text linked directly to the event’s audience URL, replacing the previous link icon.
Updated Smart Tips Logic for Console Top NAV Recommendation
The logic behind Smart Tips for the Console Top Navigation has been updated to ensure more accurate and meaningful recommendations. The uplift calculation now uses a quarterly average and compares Top Nav engagement to Menu Dock, excluding Dropdown configurations entirely. Smart Tips are shown only if Top Nav demonstrates the highest engagement and isn't already the most-used menu type. Displayed tips will now include the uplift percentage and Menu Dock usage rate. This update also refines data filters to include only clients with sufficient usage history, improving the quality and relevance of insights.
Connect
New Timeline Event Support Brings ON24 Engagement Data to All HubSpot Tiers
The ON24 HubSpot App now supports new Timeline Event types that reflect ON24 engagement activities such as polls, surveys, questions, and downloads. This update allows clients using non-Enterprise versions of HubSpot to access the same engagement data currently available through the ON24 custom object for HubSpot Enterprise customers.
Improved Validation for ON24 Veeva Network Integration
Enhancements to the ON24 Veeva Network integration improves data handling by validating registrant provider identifiers against both the "License Number" and "Healthcare Provider ID" fields. The integration now also accepts only records flagged as "ACT".
Integration Update Adds Support for Salesforce Boolean Fields
We've expanded the Salesforce CRM integration to support boolean fields. This update improves compatibility with Salesforce data models, allowing for mapping any of our custom fields and our Marketing Events field over to boolean field types when creating new Lead records.
New “istestevent” Field Added to Event API for Easier Test Event Filtering
The Event API now includes an “istestevent” field in its responses, enabling clients to easily distinguish test events from live ones. This addition supports better filtering and reporting, especially useful in development and QA environments.
Unified Registration API Update Adds Support for Virtual and In-Person Designations
The Unified Seamless Registration API will be updated to support passing "Virtual" or "In-Person" designations. This enhancement enables customers using external registration to specify the intended viewing type for registrants, supporting hybrid event formats.
Go Live
Improved Agenda Visibility
To make event navigation more intuitive, we’ve updated the agenda behavior so that any previously applied filters are automatically cleared when a user signs in. This ensures that attendees always start with a full view of the event agenda, reducing confusion and making it easier to discover sessions.
