A
Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA):
Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) is a set of attributes that define ways to make web content and web applications (especially those developed with JavaScript) more accessible to people with disabilities. It supplements HTML so that interactions and widgets commonly used in applications can be passed to assistive technologies when there is not otherwise a mechanism. See ARIA.
Account Analytics:
Allows you to look at data across all or a subset of the webcasts in your account to determine the success of your webinars and see details on the behavior of your attendees. ON24 Intelligence.
Account Dashboard:
The Account Dashboard provides a snapshot of account specific information such as user logins, the number of webcasts completed, and tracking IDs, along with the contract start and end dates. Account Dashboard.
Account Engagement Profile (AEP):
Summarizes an account’s interactions with all ON24 webinars and distinct types of content or videos uploaded on the ON24 platform. This is available with our Advanced Reporting and Analytics add-on. See Account Engagement Profile.
Account Engagement Cloud:
Displays your top accounts and is based on the number of registrations from a specific domain and is represented by the relative size of the words indicating engagement from each source. The more registrants from a particular domain increase the size of the domain name within the word cloud. Prospect Engagement Profile.
Advancing Slides:
Presenters can advance slides and presentation elements by clicking the next arrow on the Live View Window. See Elite Studio | Sharing Presentation Elements with Your Audience.
Adaptive Bitrate (ABR):
Dynamically adjusts the webinar stream as bandwidth conditions change. This can be done for both live and on-demand webinars. It works by detecting a user's bandwidth and CPU capacity in real-time and adjusting the quality of the media stream accordingly. An encoder will encode a single source media (video or audio) at multiple bit rates. The player client switches between streaming the different encodings depending on available resources. As a result, there is very little buffering and a good experience for both high-end and low-end connections. See Adaptive Bitrate.
Akamai:
A content delivery network (CDN). Accounting for a large portion of the world's web traffic, Akamai’s Intelligent Cloud Computing Platform is built on top of 200,000 servers, in over 110 countries, within more than 1,400 networks in the world. See Akamai.
Artificial Intelligence:
The theory and development of computer systems able to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and translation between languages.
Ask a Question:
Allows your attendees to submit questions and receive answers - at any time - during the live or on-demand webcast. For on-demand webcasts, the Q&A widget can be configured to have submitted questions forwarded to an email address. See Engagement Tools | Ask Question.
Aspect Ratio:
Describes the proportional relationship between an image’s width and its height, commonly expressed as two numbers separated by a colon, as in 16:9. Also, a setting within the Slides Engagement Tool to specify the aspect ratio (either 4:3 or 16:9) to prevent display issues. See Engagement Tools | Slides.
Attendee Chat Engagement Tool:
Allows attendees to chat amongst each other and with the presenters. See Engagement Tools | Attendee Chat.
Attendance Conversion Rate:
This section identifies the total number of console views and conversion rates by partner referral/location code. See Webcast Intelligence Dashboard.
Attendee List:
Shows the presentation team, and who and how many people are in attendance at any moment during the live webinar.
Audience Console:
The audience console is where the audience will watch and interact with the webinar. Attendees will access the audience console by opening the Audience URL. We recommend customizing the console to display your branding (background images, logos, etc.) and leveraging the engagement tools to interact with the audience. See Webinar Console Branding Guide and Audience Console | Overview.
Audience URL:
The audience URL is used to promote your webinar and access the audience view of the webcast. This URL can be distributed for posting on various websites or for inclusion in email notifications. See Creating a Webcast.
Automate Attendance Checks:
The automated attendance check is a pop-up alert (a simple 'Are you there?’ message) that appears to the audience to check their attendance. If the attendee is focused on the webinar, he/she is supposed to click on the button to close the alert. The webinar organizer can set a time interval for the attendance check to show and all of the check information is gathered within the Certification report. The attendance checks are set up within the Certification engagement tool. See Engagement Tools | Earn Certification.
Average Engagement Score:
Webinar events are assigned an overall average engagement score for the event, the Live Performance of the webcast, and the on-demand performance of the webcast. The ON24 Engagement Score is calculated based on viewer activity and used to measure attendees’ participation, interactivity, and use of webinar features. With a maximum score of 10, the Engagement Score algorithm factors in a range of factors into one simple metric. The Average Engagement Score is calculated by dividing the total engagement score by the number of events attended. See Webcast Intelligence Dashboard.

Bandwidth:
Bandwidth measures the total number of frequencies, or capacity, a network connection can handle at any given moment. The higher the bandwidth, the faster your internet speed. See Presenter Bandwidth Requirements.
Benchmark Report:
The Webinar Benchmark Report allows ON24 customers to compare their webcasts to a collection of peer webcasts and to use that data to improve the performance of their own webcast programs. It also allows users to keep a static copy of the dynamically changing data via a download. See Webinar Benchmark Reports.
Bento4:
An open-source library and tool designed to read and write ISO-Mp4 files. Bento4 includes support for parsing and multiplexing H.264 and H.265 elementary streams, converting MP4 to MPEG2-TS, packaging HLS and MPEG-DASH, content encryption, decryption, and much more. See Bento4.
Bit:
Internet speed is measured in bits per second (bps). This is the smallest unit of computer information, so you’ll often see internet speeds referred to as megabits per second (Mbps).
Bitmovin:
Bitmovin is the media player ON24 uses to stream video to the audience. See Bitmovin.
Bitrate:
A number of "bits per second" (bps) at which data in a video is being delivered. See Confirming Audio and Video Bitrates.
Broadband:
Broadband is the most common Internet connection available because of its high speeds and is provided by an Internet Service Provider (ISP).
Broadcast Video:
The Broadcast Video option in Webcast Elite allows you to incorporate HD quality video into your live webcasts. The Broadcast Video option requires external encoding gear to encode the video file at your location before sending the encoded stream to the ON24 platform. See Boadcast Video | Encoding Guide.
Business Interests section:
Includes the top interests of the prospect. It is designed to assist the Salesperson viewing the Prospect Engagement Profile (ideally through an ON24 connector integration with their CRM) in knowing the specific business interests of this prospect to engage in a meaningful follow-up conversation with them. Prospect Engagement Profile.
Byte:
1 byte is equal to 8 bits. We use bytes to refer to how much memory is available or being transferred.

Cache:
Collection of historical data such as images, websites visited, and text entries stored in a browser from a user’s web activity. See Clearing Your Cache.
Captcha:
A program or system intended to distinguish human from machine input, typically as a way of thwarting spam and automated extraction of data from websites. See Registration Page Options.
Capture Clip:
The capture clips feature allows presenters to record their screen share demos in advance using a PC microphone. A Flash plug-in is required.
Carousel:
The carousel is a page layout users can select when designing their webinar registration page. See Registration Page Design.
CEA-708
CEA-708 is the standard captioning format used for digital television. A variety of text sizes, colors, fonts, and background colors may be used.
Certification
ON24 users can set up certification within a webinar using the Certification Engagement Tool. The tool allows the webinar organizer to generate a certificate for attendees. These certificates can be earned by completing a set of criteria related to poll answering, test completion, or number of minutes that the attendee spent watching the webinar. Continuing Education (CE)
Continuing Education can also mean certification. If setting up a webinar for certification or continuing education purposes. See Engagement Tools | Earn Certification.
Column Picker:
Feature of the My Webcasts page and Audience Report that determines the columns of data that will be displayed.Audience Report and Searching the Webcast Library.
Common Media Application Format (CMAF):
CMAF is an emerging standard intended to simplify the delivery of HTTP-based streaming media. The idea is to have the media segments encoded once with the same format, but the manifests could be different. One single copy of the content, with two manifest files on different devices. If the device supports one of the manifest files (MPD and m3u8) it can download one; doesn't need to do both. However, manifests are usually very light in comparison to media segments.
Conditional Registration Fields:
Fields that appear based on the selection of another field, usually Country. Used for compliance with data protection laws. Conditional Registration Fields.
Console Builder:
The Console Builder is the heart of creating a custom and engaging webcast experience for your audience. It is your WYSIWYG (“what you see is what you get”) design tool for the webcast console. The webcast console is what your audience will see when they attend your webcast. See Audience Console | Overview.
Contact Us Engagement Tool:
Allows attendees to send an email to a specified email address and allows webinar attendees to easily contact you or your company. See Engagement Tools | Contact Us.
Content Delivery Network (CDN):
A CDN refers to a geographically distributed group of servers that work together to provide fast delivery of Internet content. It helps cache content at the network edge, which improves website performance.
Content Views from Engagement Hub:
Displays the number of times the different types of content are viewed including videos, webcasts, PDFs, podcasts, and URLs. See Engagement Hub | Reporting.
Create-a-Copy:
This feature can be handy if a new webcast will be similar to a previously created webcast. Duplicate previously run webcasts or create a webinar template. A webinar template will provide a consistent starting place for all of your webinars. With a webinar template set up a new webcast with all of your branding, registration, emails, engagement tools, etc., and title it Template, to help save time when creating future events. The template webcast should not have any slides or media uploaded to it. See Webcast Quick Links and Creating a Webcast Template.
CRM:
Short for Customer Relationship Management. It is a system that manages and analyzes customer interactions and data throughout the customer lifecycle, with the goal of improving customer service relationships and assisting in customer retention, and driving sales growth.

Dashboard:
Provides reporting on the success of each webinar and provides detailed data on the behavior of attendees. ON24’s Analytics Dashboard provides reporting on the success of each webinar and provides detailed data on the behavior of attendees. You may view data across all or a subset of the webcasts in your account. Data is automatically transferred to CRM and marketing automation systems, increasing efficiency and enabling quick and more intelligent follow-up with customers and leads. The Webcast Intelligence Dashboard includes graphical and real-time analytic tools to help measure event success and qualify leads. With this enhanced marketing intelligence, ON24 clients can easily track campaign ROI, measure the effectiveness of their content and analyze the engagement levels of audience members.See Analytics Dashboard and Webcast Intelligence Dashboard.
Domain Filtering:
A webinar security feature that allows you to either block or allow registrants with email addresses from a defined set of domains. Specific emails can be added as exceptions to the blocked domains by entering them into the exceptions field, allowing attendees using those email addresses to register and attend the webinar. if you want to only allow users from a domain, you would choose to filter by Allow Only List. See Webinar Security Options.
Download Speed:
This tells you how quickly information from external sources is received by your router.

Earn Certification Engagement Tool:
Allows you to set up a webcast for training, virtual learning, or a certification event that has required viewing time, poll response(s), and/or a test component to be certified. See Engagement Tools | Earn Certification.
Encoder:
A video encoder converts video files from one format to another, converting RAW video files into compressed, streamable, digital files. Encoders can be software applications or pieces of standalone hardware.
Engagement Hub:
The ON24 Engagement Hub allows users to manage and publish libraries of upcoming and on-demand webinars and multimedia content to engage your audience, encourage self-education and drive more inbound leads. See Engagement Hub.
Engagement Level:
Indicates the engagement level of the prospect within the account. Power Leads.
Engagement Minutes:
Total Engagement Minutes of all the leads belonging to this account. See Account Engagement Report.
Engage on Facebook Engagement Tool:
Allows a user to share information with their friends as well as like your FB company page. See Engagement Tools | Engage on Facebook.
Engagement Score:
A single number calculated based on viewer activity and used to measure attendees’ participation, interactivity, and use of webcast features. See Engagement Score.
Event Engagement Score:
Benchmark report allows you to compare the engagement level of your webcasts to webcasts in your same industry or others. See Webcast Intelligence Dashboard.
Event Console:
Same as the audience console, the platform web page where attendees watch and interact with the different features of a webinar. See Audience Console | Overview.
Event ID:
Six or seven-digit numbers used to identify an event. Visible within the webcast set up and on the My Webcasts page. Necessary for any service or technical support request. See Overview Page.
Event Summary:
Highlights information on event specifics such as event duration, questions asked, number of poll responses, number of survey responses, and Take Action (CTA) clicks. See Webcast Intelligence Dashboard.
Express Monitoring Package:
Provides an ON24 Event Monitor for up to 2.5 hours of assistance at the time of your webcast. The package includes online support before your event, presenter orientation, and monitoring of the live event. See Request an Express Monitoring Package.
F
.FLV:
The file format used by Adobe Flash Player and Adobe AIR to store and deliver synchronized audio and video streams over the Internet. No longer accepted by the ON24 platform.
Folder:
Used to organize questions for each presenter or subject matter. Folders can be created in Elite Studio. See Engagement Tools | Ask Question and Elite Studio | Interface.
Frame Rate:
The number of "frames per second" (fps) Video Clip Specifications.
Free Text:
Allows users to enter a text response (500 character limit for audience responses).Elite Studio | Creating and Managing Polls .

Help Engagement Tool:
Provides audience members immediate access to technical resources and information, like system requirements and technical FAQs specifically targeted to mobile users. See Engagement Tools | Help.
HTTP Referrer:
A webinar security feature that allows you to require that all registrants access your webcast from a link on a webpage residing within the assigned HTTP referrer location. See Webinar Security Options.

Image Engagement Tool:
Allows users to upload an image to be displayed on the console. The image may be hyperlinked to launch a URL in a separate browser window. See Engagement Tools | Image.
Interactions:
Provides users with all the information on how their attendees interacted with the webcast.
Interactions Report:
Provides users with all the information on how their attendees interacted with the webcast. There are five different reports: Q&A, Survey, Polls, Related Content, and more. See Interactions Report.

Kollective:
Kollective is the leading independent provider of enterprise content delivery networking (ECDN) infrastructure. Kollective’s cloud-based, software-only platform leverages existing network infrastructure to deliver content faster, more reliably, and with less bandwidth. See Kollective.

Latency:
Latency measures the delay in data transfer, telling you how fast data gets from a source to its destination.
Layouts:
Controls how the presenters will appear in the Media Player on the Audience Console. Layouts can be changed on the fly during the webcast. Appears on hover over the Media Player in Elite Studio. See Elite Studio | Interface.
Lifetime Activity:
Displays prospects’ Engagement Level, Total Engagement Minutes, Total Touches, Webinars Attended, Resources, Video’s Watched, Documents Read and Webpages.See Prospect Engagement Profile.
Live Marker:
A red live marker added to the thumbnail when that element is in the Live View window.
Live View:
The window in Elite Studio where presenters push slides and presentation elements to the audience during the webcast. See Elite Studio | User Guide.
Lobby Page:
Serves as a holding place for your audience prior to the live webcast. It is automatically generated from the registration page. The promotional summary section of the lobby page can be customized.See Webinar Lobby Page.
Lobby Time:
The 15 minutes before the webinar starts is often referred to as lobby time. During this time registrants may begin logging into the webinar while they wait for the presentation to begin.

Manage Users:
Ability to add, edit and delete logins that are available in your account. See Manage User Logins.
MAP:
Short for Marketing Automation Platform, a system that manages marketing processes and multifunctional campaigns, across multiple channels, automatically.
Mbps:
“Megabits per second” is how we gauge internet speeds. This number represents the bandwidth of an internet connection, which is how much data can be transferred each second.
MBps:
“Megabytes per second” measures the file size when talking about how much data can be transferred each second. You might also see this figure represented as MB.
Media Player Engagement Tool:
Plays the audio/video for your webcast. Also, displays the media controls for on-demand webcasts. See Engagement Tools | Media Player.
Meta-Tagging:
In order to assist in capturing and providing accurate benchmark data through the Category and Application dropdown on the Create New page. TSee agging Your Webcast.
Metric Tab:
Displays additional metrics and expands on them.
Modem:
The modem is what connects the devices on your private network to external global networks.
.MP4:
A digital multimedia container format most commonly used to store video and audio, but it can also be used to store other data such as subtitles and still images. See Video Clip Specifications.
Multi-Choice Multiple Answer:
Allows users to select multiple answers from a multiple-choice list (256 character limit). See Elite Studio | Creating and Managing Polls.
Multi-Choice Single Answer:
Allows users to select a single answer from a multiple-choice list (256 character limit). See Elite Studio | Creating and Managing Poll.
Multi-Registration URL:
Display a series of webcasts, allowing registrants to view the details for each and choose the events they want to register for. See Multi-Registration.

On-Demand:
In the context of IT, is a prime facility and feature of cloud computing services, which allows users to provision raw cloud resources at run time, when, and where needed. On-Demand webcasts are webinars your audience can watch at their leisure. All webinars that play out live to the audience will automatically become on demand once the archiving process has finished. You can also create webinars that are On Demand Recordings. See On-Demand Webcasts.

Partner Referral:
Provides marketers the ability to track the origin of registrants and thereby measure a campaign’s effectiveness. The Webcast Intelligence Dashboard tracks which source URL was used to access the registration page and then how many of them registered for the webcast from that campaign. The report also tracks their webcast attendance. See Partner Referral.
Ping:
A ping is a test that determines if a server is reachable. The test sends a data packet to the server to see if the data comes back.
Ping Time:
Measured in milliseconds, ping time tells you how fast a data packet travels to the server and back. If your connection doesn’t register the data request for a couple of seconds, you may see a lag in your connection.
Platform Support:
The ON24 Platform Support provides technical support to our customers through a variety of channels. See Contact Support.
Poll Questions:
Adds human interaction and collects actionable data points by capturing the voice of the audience. See Elite Studio | Creating and Managing Polls.
Port:
A virtual point where network connections start and end that are software-based and managed by a computer's operating system. Each port is associated with a specific process or service.
Post-Live:
Post-live is the time immediately have a live webinar has ended, during which there may be a survey or a call to action for the audience to complete.
Predictive Engagement Level:
The Predictive Engagement Level will display for each prospect who has just registered but has not accessed any webinar, video, or PDF yet. ON24 uses advanced machine learning algorithms to predict how engaged a new prospect will be for a specific client. Engagement Level can be either HIGH, MEDIUM, or LOW. See Predictive Engagement Analytic.
Premium Event Management Package:
A Premium Event Management package provides up to 6 hours of assistance with your webcast including registration page, emails, and console setup, presenter orientation, live event monitoring, and archiving.See Request a Premium Event Management Package.
Presenter:
One of three roles available to login to the presenter console. Presenters can Screen Share (Live Video and Audio (screen share) present type), Push Slides and Other Presentation Elements, Select a Language for the presenter interface, Moderate Q&A, and use Team Chat. See Logging Into Elite Studio.
Presenter Actions:
Provides a presentation summary report that documents each action that occurred during the presentation. Actions include slide pushes, polls, URLs, poll results, video clips, etc. See Interactions Report
Presenter Chats:
A chat log of the messages sent via the Team Chat window in Elite Studio. See Interactions Report.
Presenter Media:
Longer video recordings of entire presentations used for On-Demand Recordings and Simu-live events. See Using Presenter Media
Preview URL:
The Preview URL will launch the audience console and is used for previewing/testing functionality before the webcast goes public. While presenters are rehearsing, users may launch the preview URL in a separate window to watch the slides advance, screen share demo, preview poll questions, and video clips. Producer:
One of three roles available to login to Elite Studio. The Producer role is the only role with access to the Start and Stop Live button, the Storyboard Organizer, and the Setup window. All permissions: Upload Slides and Video clips, Add Polls & URLs, Start/Stop the Webinar, Arrange the Webinar Elements, Mute Presenters, Clear the Team Chat Log, Screen Share, Push Slides and Other Presentation Elements, Language Selection, Moderate Q&A, and Use Team Chat. See Logging Into Elite Studio.
Promotional Summary Editor:
WYSIWYG editor for the abstract of the webinar which will appear on the Registration and Lobby pages. See Registration Page Design.
Prospect Engagement Profile (PEP):
Is a unique set of data analytics that translates webinar engagement into valuable intelligence that is automatically delivered to sales, right at their fingertips. The Prospect Engagement Profile provides all of a prospect's business interests listed in one place to determine intent, along with the recent webinars they have attended, the questions asked, polls answered, resources downloaded, etc.See Prospect Engagement Profile.
Pulse Check:
A Pulse Check may be pushed to the audience to allow a presenter(s) to ask a question verbally and quickly assess audience participation and understanding. Submit a support ticket if do not currently have this feature and would like it enabled.
Push Storyboard:
The Storyboard is the virtual roadmap of your presentation's slides, videos, polls, and URLs. The storyboard contains thumbnail images each uniquely different to identify the elements in your presentation. Pushing to elements in the Storyboard moves the presentation forward or backward during the live webcast. See Elite Studio | User Guide.
Q
Q&A Screener:
One of the three user roles in Elite Studio. Q&A Screeners are focused on answering and organizing audience questions. This role has limited access to presentation tools. Q&A Screeners have access to the Language Selection upon login, the ability to moderate Q&A and Team Chat. See Logging Into Elite Studio.
R
Real-time:
Reports update immediately; there is no lapse of time.
Refer Colleague Engagement Tool:
Users can share information about your webcast with colleagues. See Engagement Tools | Refer Colleague.
Registration Capacity:
Webinar security feature to limit the number of registrants who can register for a webcast on a per webcast basis. Webinar Security Options.
Related Content:
Allows your webinar attendees to access supplementary content such as documents, presentations, URLs, podcasts, and other content. See Engagement Tools | Related Content.
Registration Conversion Rate:
The attendee conversion rate is a percentage calculated by dividing the total number of attendees by the total number of registrants. See Webcast Intelligence Dashboard.
Registration Source:
Displays where your registrants are coming from. The registration source can be tracked when a parameter, such as a Partner Referral code, is distributed with the Audience URL. See Partner Referral.
Report Scheduler:
Subscribe to a regular, automated, analytics reports summary. See Analytics Dashboard.
Router:
This piece of hardware is at the center of private internet networks. It facilitates all of the connections between devices and your network.

Screen Share:
Involves sharing access to a given computer screen. Screen sharing software uses many different methods to allow sharing a screen remotely with a second user for collaboration purposes or other objectives. See Elite Studio | Using Screen Share.
Screen Share Extension:
The ON24 Screen Sharing Extension, when downloaded, enables users of Elite Studio the ability to use the Capture Video Clip tool. See Elite Studio | Capturing Video Clip.
Seamless Registration:
Enables you to send registrant information from your remote webcast registration page to your webcast’s ON24 registration database, using a script. See Seamless Registration.
Share Experience Engagement Tool:
Allows your users to share a variety of webcast information, including an invite URL to a variety of different social media outlets. See Engagement Tools | Share Experience.
Signal Acquisition:
Department at ON24 responsible for streaming the content of ON24 webcasts over the Internet. By means of the platform they capture the signal, using the bridge line, webcam, PC-Mic, etc. See Live Event Emergency Hotline and Troubleshooting Your Webinar.
Signal Indicator:
Help inform audience members if they do not have sufficient bandwidth to support the streaming media including presenter video, screen share, and video clips.
Simu-live:
One of the ON24 present types. Simu-live allows you to pre-record your entire webinar and deliver it to a live audience at a designated date and time. You can interact with the live audience through written Q&A. See Getting Started with Simu-live and On Demand Webcast.
Single Answer:
Allows webcast attendees to check a single checkbox to confirm they are engaged in the presentation. This is one of the poll question formats.
Single File Archive:
A video copy of your webcast, that can be saved as an .MP4, or .WMV file.See Single File Archive.
Slide Area:
The Slide Area is the same as the Slide View Window r Slides Engagement Tool on the audience console. It displays the PowerPoint slides that are presented to your audience. The slide area can also display polls and other elements.See Engagement Tools | Slides.
Social Sharing URL:
The ability to add abstract text and an image to your social sharing audience URL.
Speaker Bio Engagement Tool:
Displays presenter/speaker details including name, photo, title, company, social media profiles, and a biography. See Engagement Tools | Speaker Bio.
Start Live Button:
Used to start the live webcast, turns greens to alert presenters that live streaming has begun on the audience console.
Streaming:
Streaming (web streaming) is the process in which media content is delivered and consumed in a fluid form over the internet from a source with little storage usage in network elements. Streaming content allows a 'real-time' delivery of media as opposed to downloading.
Storyboard Organizer:
Accessed from the presenter interface. The tool used to sequence and display all the elements ( slides, video clips, polls, and URL elements) presenters will push to the attendees during the webcast. See Elite Studio | Using the Storyboard Organizer.

Table of Contents Engagement Tool:
Allows you to display a table of contents for your archived webcasts. Viewers can use the chapter list to skip through to the chapter of interest. See Engagement Tools | Table of Contents

Labels to organize your webcasts by creating virtual groupings, or "folders", for similar events. Tags like "template", or "hidden", or "Sept 2019 Campaign03" may be used to organize your webinars. See Tagging Your Webcast
Take Survey Engagement Tool:
Allows you to survey your webcast audience during and after the webcast. You can ask multiple-choice, true/false, or open-ended questions, and attendees can reply directly from within the webcast. See Engagement Tools | Take Survey
Take Test Engagement Tool:
Gives you the ability to quiz webcast attendees by creating questions with correct answers. The Take Test Tool can be used in conjunction with the Earn Certification Tool if you want to make the test part of the criteria for earning certification. See Engagement Tools | Take Test
Team Chat:
Provides presentation teams a backchannel chat tool to communicate behind the scenes without interrupting the flow of the webinar.
Text Engagement Tool:
Displays text on your audience console background. See Engagement Tools | Text.
Text With Banner:
Provide access to more information about your topic or company, i.e. an “About Us” section. It allows you to add one or more information pages to your webcast using a basic text editor with formatting features. See Text with Banner Tool.
The Audience Report:
Contains all the registrant and attendee reports such as information collected from the registration page, engagement score, registration source, registration time and more. See Audience Report.
Token:
May be used to dynamically add information specific to the webcast, usually within email notifications. To access the tokens, click Tokens in the toolbar and select the desired token from the drop-down. It will be placed at your cursor location. Some commonly used tokens are Webcast Title, Webcast Time and Help URL.See Engagement Hub | Email Notifications.
Total Attendance:
Lists the total attendees of all the webcasts conducted by this customer or account. See Analytics Dashboard.
Total Engagement Minutes:
Displays the total time the prospect or lead has engaged with webinars and all other associated content in an Engagement Hub.
Total Engagement Score:
Each attendee is calculated by adding together all engagement scores from each webinar attended by individual attendees. See Power Leads.
Total Leads:
Lists the total leads belonging to this customer or account. See Analytics Dashboard ..
Total Touches:
Displays the total number of times, the prospect or lead interacted with or "touched" the ON24 platform. See Prospect Engagement Profile.
Tracking pixels:
An HTML code snippet that is loaded when a user visits a website or opens an email. It is useful for tracking user behavior and conversions. With a tracking pixel, advertisers can acquire data for online marketing, web analysis, or email marketing. See Partner Referral.

Unique Attendees to Leads:
Displays the conversion rate for all registrants to attendees within the filtered date range. The number is calculated by dividing the total unique attendees by total leads. See Analytics Dashboard.
URL Engagement Tool:
Allows you to link your mobile audience to the websites of your choosing. URLs are opened in the same browser tab, allowing your audience to continue the webcast in the background. See Engagement Tools | URL.
Upload:
This tells you how quickly information from your network is sent to external networks.
User Roles:
Clearly defined roles (Producer, Presenter, Q&A Screener) for everyone on the presentation team. See Elite Studio | User Guide.
Utilities:
A column on My Webcasts Page that contains Create-a-Copy of webcasts, a link to the webcast URLs, and the link to More. See Webcast Quick Links.

Vanity URLs:
A branded Link or a custom short URL as Webcast Elite allows you to add a custom account-level tag. Customize Audience URL.
Video Presenter Bridge:
A cloud-based bridge that can only receive inbound connections. It cannot "dial out" to a presenter. Each Producer and Presenter must connect to the webcast independently, using a device of their choosing (e.g., telephone, webcam, PC microphone, etc.). See Elite Studio | Connecting as a Presenter.
Video clips:
Used in combination with other webcast elements in the Storyboard Organizer, such as slides, polls, and URLs. See Elite Studio | Uploading and Managing Video Clips and Elite Studio | Uploading and Managing Video Clip.
View Details:
Provides additional specifics on user activity where available. See Interactions Report.
View Slide Notes:
Displays that slide notes for individual slides as entered in the PowerPoint slide deck.
Vimeo:
A video-sharing website that allows members to view, upload, and share videos. See Media Manager | External Video.

Collection of four URLs for each webinar Present, Preview, Reports, and Audience. See Creating a Webcast.
WebRTC:
A free, open project that provides browsers and mobile applications with Real-Time Communications (RTC) capabilities via simple APIs. The WebRTC covers two different technologies, media capture devices and peer-to-peer connectivity. See WebRTC and TURN Server Use / Configuration.
WebVTT:
A Web Video Text Track (WebVTT), formerly known as WebSRT, is a common file format for displaying subtitles or captions. The purpose of a WebVTT file is to add text overlays to video or audio. It was developed to support text tracks in HTML5. See On Demand Subtitling and Transcription.
Wi-Fi:
Wi-Fi offers a wireless internet connection, negating the need for devices to connect via hardware, such as an ethernet cable.
Wirecast
Wirecast is a live video streaming production tool by Telestream. It allows users to create live or on-demand broadcasts for the web. Wirecast is often used when setting up a Broadcast Video webinar. See Wirecast.
.WMV:
A series of video codecs and their corresponding video coding formats developed by Microsoft. It is part of the Windows Media framework. One of the formats available for download when requesting a Single File Archive on the Webcast Elite Platform. See Single File Archive.
WYSIWYG:
WYSIWYG is an acronym for What You See Is What You Get.
